CHANGE THE CURRENT FORMAT AND/OR SET YOUR DEFAULT FORMAT
To change the current format, choose your desired format from the drop down listing on the left. Then click on the button labeled "Change Format".
If you wish to change your default format (the format that loads first each time you log in), check the "MAKE DEFAULT" checkbox and follow the same instructions for changing the format.
ACCESS ARTIST INFORMATION, AUDIO AND PICTURES
To access artist information, click on the "Artist Page" link next to the album pictures on the main member page.
You can preview songs by clicking on the album picture or clicking on the "Preview" button.
If you are looking for a particular artist you may use the "Search" page or the "Library" page. The "Library" page can also be uesed to view all of the artists available on Radiocurrents.com.
Note: Both the "Search" page and "Library" page will show you all of the results from Radiocurrents.com, regardless of the current selected format.
AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD FILES
Beginning with Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), a new visual feature named the Information Bar is added to Microsoft Internet Explorer and to Windows Internet Explorer. You may notice that the Information Bar alerts you to files that are blocked from being downloaded when you visit this and other web sites.
To change this (WARNING: This could make your computer more vulnerable to spyware and other computer viruses):
1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. There are four security zones listed:
Internet
Local intranet
Trusted sites
Restricted sites
Click the zone where you want to change the settings.
4. Under Security level for this zone, click Custom Level.
Under Downloads, under Automatic prompting for file downloads, click Disable or click Enable, and then click OK two times. For more information CLICK HERE
ENABLE COOKIES
To enable cookies, follow the instructions below for the browser version you are using. You might need to close and reopen your browser after changing settings for the change to take affect.
Mozilla Firefox (1.0 final release and earlier)
- Go to the "Tools" menu.
- Select "Options".
- Select the "Privacy" icon in the left panel.
- Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies".
- Click "OK" to save changes.
Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 5.0
- Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
- Click on the arrow next to "Privacy & Security" in the scrolling window to expand.
- Under "Privacy & Security", select "Cookies."
- Select "Enable all cookies".
- Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
- Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
- Click on the "Privacy" tab.
- Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings".
- Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
- Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
- Click on the "Security" tab.
- Click the "Custom Level" button.
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
- To enable:
- Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
- Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
- Click "OK".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
- Select "Internet Options" from the View menu.
- Click on the "Advanced" tab.
- Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section.
- To enable:
- Select "Always accept cookies".
- Click "OK".
Netscape Communicator 4.x
- Select "Preferences" from the Edit menu.
- Find the "Cookies" section in the "Advanced" category.
- To enable:
- Select "Accept all cookies" (or "Enable all cookies").
- Click "OK".
